Hi, I’m Smitha

I am a Professor in the School of Computational and Data Sciences at Vidyashilp University in Bangalore. I work in the area of Machine Learning, primarily in Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. I have done my PhD in Intelligent Agents. I believe in interdisciplinary research. Trying to understand the application of data science to various domains like psychology, economics including fine arts. I am currently working in collaboration with couple of start-ups in researching and providing analytic solutions using Multimodal Learning, Voice Analytics and Spoken Language Understanding (SLU).
